Welcome to the FarmNav app, provided by RAINDROP LLC. Our app is a subscription service that draws guidance lines for field work, helping you keep your passes straight and see what ground you have already covered. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information through the FarmNav app ("Service").

FarmNav is built to keep your data on your device. We do not operate an account system and we do not run servers that store your fields, your jobs, or your location.

By choosing to use our Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information in accordance with this policy.

DEFINITIONS

"Personal Information" refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify you, directly or indirectly.

"Service" refers to the FarmNav app, including all features and functionalities.

"We," "us," and "our" refer to RAINDROP LLC.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

We collect very little. Here is the complete picture.

Location Data

FarmNav reads your device's location while the app is open and on screen. It uses that location to draw your guidance line, show how far you are from your next pass, and paint the ground you have covered.

Your location is never transmitted to us and is never stored outside your device. It is used on the device, as you drive, and it is not uploaded, shared, sold, or retained on any server we control.

The app requests location access only for use while the app is in use. It does not request or use background location, and it does not track your position when the app is closed.

Types of Collected Information

- User Account Information: none. FarmNav has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We never ask for your name, your email address, or your phone number.

- Field, Job, and Equipment Data: The fields you draw, the jobs you record, your implement widths, worked acreage, and coverage thumbnails are saved in the app's private storage on your device. This information stays on your device.

- Analytics Data: none. FarmNav contains no analytics, no advertising, and no crash-reporting or usage-tracking software of any kind.

Third-Party Services

Three parties are involved in running the Service, and each is limited to what it needs:

- RevenueCat manages your subscription. It receives a device-generated identifier and your App Store purchase receipt so it can confirm whether your subscription is active. - Apple processes your subscription purchase and holds the record of it. We never see or handle your payment details. Privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

- Expo (EAS Update) delivers app updates. When you open the app it checks for an update, which means Expo's servers see your device's IP address and basic device details such as platform and app version. Privacy policy: https://expo.dev/privacy

Each of these parties is required to provide the same or equal protection of user data as is stated in this policy.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use the limited information described above to:

- Draw guidance lines, calculate your distance from the next pass, and record coverage, all computed on your device.
- Confirm whether your subscription is active, so the app knows to unlock.
- Deliver app updates and fixes.

We do not use your information to build a profile of you, to advertise to you, or to make decisions about you.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties except as disclosed in this policy. We do not have access to your location or your field data, so we could not share it even if we were asked to.

DATA SECURITY

Your field, job, and equipment data is stored in the FarmNav app's private storage area on your device, which iOS isolates from other apps and protects with the device's own encryption. Because this data never leaves your device, it is not exposed to a server breach.

Your subscription status is handled by Apple and RevenueCat over encrypted connections.

YOUR RIGHTS

Because FarmNav holds no account and stores nothing on our servers, you are in direct control of your data:

- Delete your data: Deleting individual fields and jobs inside the app removes them. Deleting the app from your device removes all remaining FarmNav data.

- Revoke location access: Turn off location for FarmNav at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Location Services. The app will continue to open, and will tell you that guidance needs location to work.

- Manage your subscription: View, change, or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Refund requests go to Apple.

COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

The FarmNav app does not use cookies and contains no cross-app or cross-site tracking technology. We do not request permission to track you, because we do not track you.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under this age. If we learn of any such collection, we will promptly delete the information.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of any significant changes and encourage you to review this policy regularly.
